Involvement in the creation of food forest De Vlierelier

Through my work at **Peter van Duin Consultancy BV**, I am deeply engaged with sustainable development, collaboration, and future-oriented thinking. Yet, there is nothing more rewarding than putting those principles into practice close to home. That is why I became personally involved in the creation of **Food Forest De Vlierelier**.

De Vlierelier is located in a unique spot — right between the natural areas of **Wollebrand** and **Het Kraaijenest**. This makes the food forest not only a place for people to learn from and enjoy, but also an important **ecological link** connecting these two landscapes. With thoughtful design and careful planting, it creates a habitat where plants and animals can move more freely and thrive.

My involvement in De Vlierelier stems from a deep belief that **sustainable change starts with local action**. Together with other dedicated partners, we are building a place where nature, education, and community come together — a living example of what can happen when the power of collaboration meets the wisdom of nature.
